Home of Nomad at TODA and Sikka Art Festival, Dubai

2024-2025

Home of Nomad was screened at the Theatre of Digital Art Dubai and later at the Sikka Art Festival in collaboration with TODA, introducing the work within two cultural contexts that sit at the intersection of art, architecture, and digital media. Presented as a multi-surface immersive installation, the film was shown in its complete form, allowing its evolving environments to unfold across angled walls and expansive surfaces.

Inside this setup, the film’s slow progression and continuous flow emphasized the core ideas embedded in Home of Nomad. Natural terrains, imagined architectural forms, and quiet celestial scenes shifted in scale and perspective as they moved across the space. Viewers experienced changes in distance, depth, and composition from within the landscapes themselves, echoing the film’s reflection on “Home” as something carried internally and shaped by memory, emotion, and presence.

The TODA environment served as a calm, contemplative setting for the work. Its multi-wall configuration provided a spatial frame large enough to hold the transitions between nature, architecture, and cosmic references that move through the film.At both TODA and the Sikka Art Festival, the installation invited audiences to slow down, observe, and immerse themselves in the film’s quiet continuity, offering a meditative encounter with inner landscapes translated onto digital space.
