The Space in Between was installed at Lunico in Dubai through a collaboration with Kanvas, extending Rank SSS’s ongoing exploration of nature, space, and perception into a site-specific environment. The work introduced a continuous motion landscape that joined two realms: the grounded presence of forest life and the distant atmosphere of the cosmos, converging at a threshold that sits between the familiar and the unknown.

The piece was integrated into Lunico’s ambiance, echoing the restaurant’s fascination with nature, celestial themes, and quiet narrative presence. The slow movement, layered sense of scale, and evolving depth turned the interior into an atmospheric backdrop, reinforcing the spatial identity of the venue and aligning with its curatorial direction.

The Space in Between carried forward the cinematic motion language seen across Rank SSS’s wider practice, where imagined landscapes gradually reveal themselves. It strengthened Lunico’s architectural and conceptual character through immersive visual storytelling, shaping a reflective and expansive environment connected to the theme it draws from.
